比赛形式是什么样的？
What is the format of the competition?
比赛采取“项目创始人自述4分钟+回答评委提问4分钟”的路演形式。将决出海外赛区5个优胜项目、国内赛区16个优胜项目以及合作邀请赛8个优胜项目，共29个项目进入全球总决赛。
全球总决赛采取“比赛+对接”相结合的形式组织，最终分别决出初创组和成长组冠亚季军。
The competition adapts a pitch competition format – a 4-minute presentation by the founder followed by 4 minutes of Q&A with the judges. A total of 29 projects will be qualified into the Global Final, including 5 winning projects from the Overseas Zone, 16 winning projects from the Domestic Zone, and 8 winning projects from the Invitational Tracks.
The Global Final consists of “pitch competition” and “investors matching-making”, which finally decides the champions and runner-ups for the Startup and Growth groups.

我不是海归创业者，我能报名么？
I am not an overseas returnee entrepreneur. Can I still apply for the competition?
可以。今年创业赛分初创组、成长组，初创组要求海归或外籍创业团队，创始人团队中有一人有海外背景即可，且要求具有海外背景的创始人本人作为申报人和参赛者进行答辩。没有海外背景的项目可以报名成长组。
Yes, you can. The participants for this year's global entrepreneurship competition will be divided into “Startup Group” and “Growth Group”. The “Growth Group” participants aren’t required to have an overseas background. Meanwhile, participants applying for the “Start-up group” must have previous overseas background – if you don’t but your co-founders have overseas background, you can encourage them to apply instead!

参赛都需要做些什么？
What do I need to do/prepare for the competition?
只要有一个 idea 就可以参赛。您需要把 idea 整理成 BP 的形式，通过上面的注册链接报名。在 OTEC 的竞赛环节里，您需要做一个 4 分钟的 idea 陈述，并评委做 4 分钟的问答交流，that's all。
All you need to have is an idea. You need to turn your idea into a business plan and apply via the link above. During the competition, you’re required to make a 4-minute presentation followed by a 4-minute Q&A with the judges, that’s all.

同一个项目，可以报名多个赛道吗？
Can I apply for multiple tracks with the same project?
不可以，同一项目只可以参加一个赛道决赛，建议谨慎选择赛道。
No, you can only take part in one track, so make sure to choose your track carefully and wisely.

“凤凰计划”与OTEC是什么关系？
What is the relationship between “Phoenix Plan” and OTEC？
凤凰计划创业类项目的专家评审工作与“ OTEC 海外人才创业大会全球创业赛”同步开展。
OTEC获奖项目可以享受“凤凰计划直通车”奖励，即初创企业开办费直通车、青年拔尖项目直通车、产业领军人才项目直通车、领军人才创新创业团队直通车4个类别，直通车资格为3年。
延续“以赛代评”模式，经OTEC全球创业赛专家评审，获得“凤凰计划直通车”资格后，符合条件的通过“推荐制”方式，获得相应的认定和资助。其中，申请凤凰计划“初创企业开办费”项目的，必须先报名参加 OTEC 全球创业赛。
The expert's review for the startup projects of Phoenix Plan and “OTEC Global Entrepreneurship Competition” are carried out simultaneously.
The winning projects of OTEC will be awarded the “Phoenix Plan Pass Card” prize and are eligible to apply for “Startup Expenses Pass Card”, “Youth Elite Projects Pass Card”, “Industry Leading Talents Projects Pass Card” and “Leading Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Pass Card”. Note that the pass card service is only valid for 3 years.
Continuing the "competition-based evaluation" model, after being reviewed by the experts of the OTEC Global Entrepreneurship Competition and obtaining the qualification of the “Phoenix Project Pass Card”, those eligible through the “recommendation system” will receive corresponding recognitions and funding. Among them, those who apply for the Phoenix Plan “Start-up Startup Fee” program must first register for the OTEC Global Entrepreneurship Competition.

I have already received a startup fee under Phoenix Plan. Can I apply for the competition with a new project this year?
可以参加比赛，但不能再获得“凤凰计划”初创企业开办费直通车的资助。原则上，同一申报人只能获得一次“凤凰计划”初创资助。
Yes, you can certainly participate in the competition, but you should no longer be eligible for the funding from the "Phoenix Plan Pass Card" for the start-up expenses. In principle, the same applicant can only get the "Phoenix Plan" start-up funding once.

以前参加过OTEC创业大赛，今年是否还可以报名？如果可以，以前的账号还可以用吗？以前注册的账号密码忘记了，怎么办？
I took part in the OTEC Global Entrepreneurship Competition before. Can I still apply this year? If I can, may I use the previous account number? What should I do if I forget the account number and password?
可以，不管是新项目还是之前的项目，只要满足条件，今年依然可以报名参加大赛。需重新注册新的账号登录报名。
Yes, you can. Whether the project is new or the same as last time, you can still take part in the competition as long as the project fits the requirements. But you MUST register a new account.

报名截止时间为8月1日，具体时间、地点大赛组委会将另行通知。请保持联系方式畅通。
